I have been writing for a long time. I wrote my first work of fiction when I sat down in front of my mom’s electric typewriter when I was in the third grade. It was a three-page, no punctuation, no paragraph piece of horribleness. However, it was so much fun creating stories that came right out of my head I knew that I wanted to do it for the rest of my life. Thankfully, I have managed to do that. Some days are better than others, but sometimes it is just a total trip to be a published author.
Today is one of those days.
I don’t know if other writers get used to this kind of thing, but it still gives me a charge. I got the complimentary copies of my book “Silas Jayne: Chicago’s Suburban Gangster” from History Press. I love when this happens. I also still love going to a book store and seeing my books on a shelf. Maybe Stephen King and John Grisham and guys like that are jaded and used to this, but it still gets me hot and bothered.
So, that means this is really here and the books are really ready. So, click on the damn link and buy your copies. I mean, really, what does a guy have to do? Beg? OK, then PLLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEE buy your copy now.
Love ya!
