I am a Google guy. I mean, I love Google. I, long ago, moved to the cloud and began using Google Docs. I have novels and books and articles written using Google Docs. I have an Android phone and have had one for years. Needless to say, I was salivating at the idea of getting a Chromebook.
In the battle of the tablets, I wanted a Chromebook. I have been using Chrome as my browser for years. I have been shopping their apps store for months. When the Chromebooks came out, it was a no-brainer that I could easily replace my laptop with a Chromebook.
Yes, there are some things I still need a Windows laptop for. To format my books for publication using my laptop. My iTunes is still on my laptop. When I work from home for my day job, I still need to use “lappie.” But for a vast majority of my needs, Chromeo (as he has been dubbed) is just what I need.
I have wireless set up at my fiance’s house and at home. I love this thing. It is light, thin, and set up a bit like a Mac Book. It’s one of the original prototype ones Google sent out last year for people to test. I got it for half the price of the Acer books you can get through Amazon and stuff.
So, just sharing. I am a Google guy. I love Google. Hear that Google? Just sayin’.
