I really like the people at Sourcebooks, the publisher out of Naperville, IL. They are a relatively small group of people, but they publish great books and they are local, which is awesome. Heck, my fiance’s place is just a few blocks away from their offices!
Not only do they do great traditional book publishing, but they have also embraced the world of the ebook, and that always gets me interested. Not only do the publish their books as ebooks, they have now launched their own romance ebook club.
Click HERE and you can read all about it from the Chicago Tribune’s Trib Local. It’s very cool and I am glad that there is at least one traditional publisher that is not terrified of the ebook revolution. I feel that the publishers who embrace ebooks and look for opportunities there are the ones who will survive the rise of ebooks and even succeed.
So, good work Sourcebooks. I love ya!
