These are pictures of my two dogs. Well, let’s be fair, they are OUR dogs – me and my fiancee. That cutie with the dark fur is a pomeranian named Pippa. That adorable one with the light fur and big smile is Gracie. Both of these dogs were from ADOPT Animal Shelter in Naperville, IL.
I am a big fan of no-kill animal shelters. I believe that if you are looking for a dog for your family, avoid buying a designer dog from a pet store. Often those dogs come from puppy mills where the parents are used exclusively for breeding, are kept in horrible conditions and often die. Pippa was rescued from a puppy mill in Kentucky.
