There is little doubt that the battle among the ereaders has come down to two major players: the Amazon Kindle and the Barnes & Noble Nook. They both have ereaders and they both have tablets and they are fighting it out in the market. I love them both, although I personally own a Kindle.
Anyway, some interesting news today that Microsoft has entered into a deal with Barnes & Noble to help further develop the Nook. While the Amazon Kindle Fire is an Android-based tablet, I think it is a safe bet to assume that future Nook Tablets will have Windows functionality. It’s a way for Windows to get into the tablet market, as well, with an already-established product without having to develop their own tablet.
