In October of 1933 a plane with seven people on board exploded over the skies of Chesterton, Indiana, on its way to Chicago.  Just days later, it was discovered that a bomb was responsible for blowing the tail off of the aircraft and sending it to the ground, ending the lives of seven people.  It was the first act of terrorism against a commercial flight in our nation’s history – and yet few know about it.

I was given unprecedented access to FBI files thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request.  For the first time, a book tells the story of what happened to that flight and over the skies of Chesterton.  I propose theories on what might have happened and why.

For fans of history, true crime, the FBI, aviation and more, this is a book that finally chronicles a story that should rank among the most historic in our nation.  What happened over Chesterton, Indiana that night?  And why was it forgotten?
