The Kobo e-reader
There is a fascinating article up at KOBO’S BLOG that says the company will soon have a way for you to buy and download ebooks via local independent bookstores.
I love this idea. The Google eBookstore has done something similar, but getting a book up on that platform is like trying to launch astronauts into space using a rubber band and a broken slingshot. Kobo recently launched a new publishing platform that makes loading books there much, much easier.
So, I plan to get my books up on Kobo in the near future – but there are already a number of my books available there.
