Yes, of course, I had plans to take it easy for the rest of the year. However, that has not happened.
I wrote a novel earlier this year, wrote a non-fiction book, edited two novels, did rewrites on the book, wrote, edited and published a collection of flash fiction. Then I promoted the hell out of the books. I was pooped!
I started this novel earlier in 2012, but put it aside to work on some other things. I had trouble getting it re-started.
Then, on the drive home from work, suddenly the inspiration hit. I have been writing a minimum of 1,000 words a day now for a while.
I can tell you this. It’s my first foray into YA literature. It’s currently about 40,000 words long. It has some characters you might recognize making a return appearance. It’s a ghost story, a mystery story and a love story.
And, it’s current working title is SAPPHIRE!
