That scary-looking guy there to the left is a fellow author and a great friend. Yeah, he's trying to look mean, but he's actually a really nice guy (don't tell him I told you that). Patrick and I have become pretty good friends over the years and I consider him a brother from another mother. He has a new book coming out soon, but you should also check out his novel Progeny in the meantime.
